Question 1

What is Reels DownloadR 94 and is it free?

Accepted Answer

Reels DownloadR 94 is a fast, web-based tool that lets you download Instagram reels, photos, videos, and carousels in their original high resolution. It is free, with no account or subscription. To keep it fast for everyone there is a fair-use limit of about 30 links per minute per visitor.

Question 2

Do I need to log in or install an app?

Accepted Answer

No. You never need an Instagram account, password, or third-party app. Simply paste the post link into the box and your download starts immediately.

Question 3

What video and photo quality do I get?

Accepted Answer

You get the highest quality Instagram has stored. Photos download in their original resolution (up to 1440px or higher) with zero compression. Videos download in crisp 720p HD and up to 1080p Full HD with sound.

Question 4

How do I download Instagram videos on iPhone / iPad?

Accepted Answer

On Safari, paste the link and tap 'Download'. Then tap the button for the quality you want, confirm the download prompt, then open the iOS 'Files' app -> 'Downloads' folder. Tap the share icon and select 'Save Video' to send it to your camera roll.

Question 5

How do I download on Android and PC?

Accepted Answer

On Android Chrome or desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox), paste the link and click 'Download'. Then click the button for the quality you want and the file will be saved directly into your device's default 'Downloads' folder.

Question 6

Can I download from private accounts or Stories?

Accepted Answer

Public story highlights, yes: paste the highlight link and every story in it downloads, no login needed. Regular 24-hour stories and private accounts, no: Instagram requires a login for those, and Reels DownloadR 94 never logs into Instagram, so we only process what's publicly visible.

Question 7

Are watermarks added to downloaded videos?

Accepted Answer

No. Reels DownloadR 94 delivers clean, original files directly without adding any logos, stamps, or watermarks.

Question 8

Do you store my downloaded files or link history?

Accepted Answer

We don't keep a library of photos or videos. Photos and standard videos come straight from Instagram's CDN. 1080p videos and MP3s converted by our server are kept for up to 24 hours, so anyone downloading the same post gets it instantly, and are then deleted. We keep a basic usage log (IP address, country, device type, and which post was requested) to prevent abuse and see how the service is used. IP addresses are deleted after 90 days.

Question 9

Is it legal to download Instagram videos?

Accepted Answer

Downloading public content for personal offline viewing or archival is generally permitted. However, intellectual property rights remain with the original creator. Please respect creators and do not redistribute without permission.

Question 10

Does the downloaded reel have sound?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The reel's original audio track, whether music, voice-over or original sound, is included in every video download.

Question 11

Are reels downloaded without a watermark?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You get the original video file with nothing added. Instagram's own download option, when a creator allows it, stamps the reel with the Instagram logo and username; ours doesn't.

Question 12

What quality are downloaded reels?

Accepted Answer

Up to 1080p Full HD, the highest quality Instagram stores for the reel. Every reel also has a 720p HD version that saves instantly.

Question 13

Why are there two 1080p options, MP4 and WebM?

Accepted Answer

Instagram keeps Full HD reels in a format (VP9) that iPhones can't play. The 1080p MP4 is converted on our server so it plays everywhere; the 1080p WebM keeps Instagram's original stream, so it's ready in seconds but can't be saved to Photos on iPhone.

Question 14

Why does 1080p take a few seconds when 720p is instant?

Accepted Answer

720p is a ready-made file on Instagram's servers. The 1080p MP4 is converted first, which takes roughly a third of the reel's length. Converted files are kept for a day, so a repeat download is instant.

Question 15

Can I download only the music or audio from a reel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tap 'Download MP3' on any reel with sound, or use the Reel to MP3 tab, which puts the MP3 button first.

Question 16

Can I save a reel's cover image?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every reel has a 'Download cover image' option that saves its thumbnail as a full-size JPG.

Question 17

My downloaded reel has no music. Why?

Accepted Answer

The creator may have posted it without sound, or Instagram removed licensed music from it in some regions. When a reel has an audio track, it's always included.

Question 18

Where are downloaded reels saved on iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

On Android, in your Downloads folder and Gallery. On iPhone, Safari saves them to Files > Downloads: open the reel, tap Share, then 'Save Video' to add it to Photos. On a computer, in your Downloads folder.

Question 19

Can I download reels from a private account?

Accepted Answer

No. Only public reels can be downloaded, and we never ask for your Instagram login. The creator isn't notified when you download a public reel, but it's still theirs: ask before reposting.

Question 20

How do I convert an Instagram reel to MP3?

Accepted Answer

Copy the reel's link in Instagram (Share > 'Copy link'), paste it above and tap Download. The 'Download MP3' button comes first; tap it and the MP3 is ready in about two seconds.

Question 21

What audio quality is the MP3?

Accepted Answer

It's made from the reel's original sound track, at around 160 kbps. The MP3 can't sound better than what Instagram stores, but nothing extra is lost in the conversion.

Question 22

How long does the conversion take?

Accepted Answer

About two seconds, because only the sound is converted. Converted files are kept for a day, so downloading the same reel's MP3 again is instant.

Question 23

Why is there no MP3 button for some posts?

Accepted Answer

Photos have no sound, and some videos are uploaded without audio. The MP3 option only appears for videos that have a sound track.

Question 24

Can I get the MP3 from a normal Instagram video or IGTV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any public Instagram video with sound works, including feed videos, old IGTV (/tv/) links and the video slides in a carousel post.

Question 25

Does it work for long videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There's no length limit for MP3, because only the audio is converted.

Question 26

The reel uses a song, but the MP3 is silent or missing. Why?

Accepted Answer

In some regions Instagram removes licensed music from a reel, and some creators post without sound. If there's no audio track, there's nothing to convert.

Question 27

Where is the MP3 saved on iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

On Android, in your Downloads folder, where music apps can play it. On iPhone, Safari saves it to Files > Downloads: tap it to play, or tap Share to send it to another app. On a computer, in your Downloads folder.

Question 28

Can I use the MP3 as a ringtone?

Accepted Answer

On Android, yes: choose it in Settings > Sound > Ringtone (the exact menu varies by phone). On iPhone, custom ringtones have to be made with Apple's GarageBand app.

Question 29

Can I use the music in my own videos?

Accepted Answer

Songs and voice-overs belong to their creators and labels. Save them for personal listening, and get permission before reusing them.

Question 30

What is an Instagram cover image?

Accepted Answer

It's the still picture shown before a reel or video starts playing, also called the thumbnail. It's either a cover the creator picked or a frame Instagram chose from the video.

Question 31

What size is the cover image?

Accepted Answer

You get the largest cover Instagram stores: usually a full 9:16 portrait JPG such as 900 × 1600, not a small preview.

Question 32

Is it the same as the thumbnail on the profile grid?

Accepted Answer

The profile grid shows a cropped version. You get the full, uncropped cover image.

Question 33

Does it work for normal Instagram videos and IGTV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any public reel or video has a cover image, including feed videos and old IGTV (/tv/) links.

Question 34

Can I get the covers of videos in a carousel post?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every video slide in the post gets its own 'Download cover image' button.

Question 35

Does it work for photo posts?

Accepted Answer

A photo post has no separate cover: the photo is the image. Paste the link and use 'Download Photo' to save it in original quality.

Question 36

What format is the cover image?

Accepted Answer

JPG, the format Instagram stores it in. It opens on every phone, computer and photo editor.

Question 37

Where is the cover image saved on iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

On Android, in your Downloads folder and Gallery. On iPhone, Safari saves it to Files > Downloads: open it, tap Share, then 'Save Image' to add it to Photos. On a computer, in your Downloads folder.

Question 38

Can I download covers from a private account?

Accepted Answer

No. Only public reels and videos work, and we never ask for your Instagram login.

Question 39

Can I reuse the cover image?

Accepted Answer

Cover images belong to the creator who posted the reel. Save them for personal reference, and ask permission before reusing them.

Question 40

What is an Instagram story highlight?

Accepted Answer

A collection of past stories that an account pins to its profile, shown as circles under the bio. Unlike regular stories, highlights don't disappear after 24 hours.

Question 41

How do I copy a highlight link?

Accepted Answer

Open the profile, tap the highlight, then tap the three dots (or the Share icon) and choose 'Copy link'. Links look like instagram.com/stories/highlights/... or instagram.com/s/...

Question 42

Can I download every story in a highlight at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste the highlight link and tap 'Download All' to save every story in order, or use each story's own buttons to pick the ones you want.

Question 43

What quality are the downloaded stories?

Accepted Answer

Photos are the original files in full resolution, often 1080 × 1920 or larger. Videos are saved in the best quality Instagram stores for the story, and also offer MP3 and the cover image.

Question 44

Does the account owner know I downloaded their highlight?

Accepted Answer

No. We don't log in to Instagram, so no view is recorded under your name. Please respect the creator and don't repost without permission.

Question 45

Can I download regular 24-hour stories?

Accepted Answer

Not at the moment. Instagram only shows those to logged-in users, and we never log in. Highlights are public, so those work.

Question 46

Can I download all the highlights on a profile at once?

Accepted Answer

No. Instagram only lists a profile's highlights for logged-in users, so paste the link of each highlight you want.

Question 47

Why does it say the highlight doesn't exist?

Accepted Answer

The owner removed the highlight or deleted its stories, or the account is private. Open the highlight in Instagram and copy a fresh link.

Question 48

Where are downloaded stories saved on iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

On Android, in your Downloads folder and Gallery. On iPhone, Safari saves them to Files > Downloads: open a photo or video, tap Share, then 'Save Image' or 'Save Video' to add it to Photos.

Question 49

Can I download highlights from a private account?

Accepted Answer

No. Only highlights on public accounts can be downloaded, and we never ask for your Instagram login.

Question 50

What resolution are downloaded Instagram photos?

Accepted Answer

You get the largest version Instagram stores: usually 1080 × 1350 for portrait posts, and up to 1440 px wide or more for photos uploaded in high resolution. It's the original file, not a preview.

Question 51

Why is this better than taking a screenshot?

Accepted Answer

A screenshot is limited to your screen's resolution and includes Instagram's buttons and text. Downloading gives you the original JPG file stored on Instagram's servers, full size and clean.

Question 52

Does downloading reduce the photo's quality?

Accepted Answer

No. The photo is saved exactly as Instagram stores it. It isn't re-compressed, resized or watermarked.

Question 53

Can I download all photos from a carousel post at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste the post link and tap 'Download All' to save every photo (and video) in the post, in order.

Question 62

Can I download just one slide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every slide has its own download buttons, so you can save only the photos or videos you want.
